its not validation for being straight, its the fact they are trans- i think on my old blogs i had a few shitlords blocked for basically saying that straight trans people didn’t have a place in LGBT despite being T… just for being straight when they’re still trans, ya know? and its been a long time so maybe they were trolls or something, i’m not looking back to check but
what OP is saying isn’t about validating the fact they’re straight but the fact they’re still trans and as thus inherently have a place in our LGBT community as a result, if that makes sense?

This is why its so irritating to see “straights go home”/“gays only” jokes around pride month because uM HELLO straight trans people exist and deserve their rightful place in the community.

The lgbtq isn’t all about being gay and it’s infuriating that it’s being turned into a competition of “who’s gayer?” as if gayness is somehow a measurement of how valid of a part of the lgbtq you are
